A YEAR (and a bit) WITH KORRA
As a pet owner, you’ll soon realize how fast your dog’s first year flies by. One moment, they’re a tiny pup learning the ropes, and the next, they’re growing into their adult selves. Here’s why you’ll never regret having those early years immortalized in photographs.
1. Dogs Grow So Fast
Dogs grow exponentially in their first year. The changes they undergo during this time are remarkable, and as they grow older, these memories may fade. Photographs act as a timeless reminder of those early, precious moments you’ll never get back.
2. Preserving Their Puppy Charm
Puppies are known for their unique cuteness—their oversized ears, wobbly legs, and innocent expressions. Capturing these moments ensures you’ll always have reminders of the puppy charm that makes them so endearing.
3. Connecting with Your Pet’s Early Years
The first year is often filled with new experiences, bonding moments, and learning curves. When you have photographs to look back on, it can bring back the emotions and excitement of those early days—helping you reconnect with the puppy you first brought home.
4. Documenting Their Development
It’s not just about how they look, but about documenting their personality development. From timid pups to confident companions, photos show the evolution of their character, traits, and quirks.
Capturing Korra, throughout the year has been a delightful way to capture both her evolving personality and the beauty of nature. I think photographing dogs growing up might be my favourite. I love being there from the beginning and watching them discover life and their personality.
Below are some of my favourite memories with Korra. It is so heartwarming to watch her grow from the cuddly puppy to a gentle lady.
